Bridging the Gap to Digital Access

In this day and age, it is no question that the internet has become a key player in how the world now functions – yet roughly half of the world lacks access to this phenomenon. While both pros and cons exist to this new digital era, the internet has proven itself to be a positive influence for education.

Many benefits can come from bringing the internet into a classroom. Through the technology, students can virtually visit and interact with places and tools that they may not have otherwise been able to afford. Textbooks can be expensive and easily become outdated, whereas world updates can be immediately accessed online. The web is also the best communication outlet, for both students and teachers to collaborate with others for lessons.

Our program, Bridging Gaps, helps bring this innovative technology into more disadvantaged classrooms around the world. We also provide computer science instructors for underserved schools. With your contribution to Yours Humanly, we can continue to bridge the digital gap and give more students access to the opportunities that are brought through these technological advances.
