Sarina Virmani received the Children Have the Power to Empower® Award for the outstanding acts of goodness she continues to perform through the nonprofit she founded, ElevateVoices, and her dedication to empowering underrepresented communities—locally, nationally, and internationally—through free public speaking workshops and literacy programs.

Her leadership skills,  respect for structured debate, and genuine compassion for others have helped marginalized individuals find the confidence to speak up with courage, share their personal stories, and advocate for themselves and others in their families, schools, and communities. By reaching across miles and time zones and partnering with diverse groups, Sarina has helped thousands of children and young people expand their life skills and brighten their futures through the art of public speaking and the power of the personal voice.
