What We Do
Quality education is a basic human right, yet millions of children around the world still lack access to the opportunities they need to learn, grow, and succeed. Children living in poverty and other challenging circumstances are often unable to attend or complete school because of financial hardship, gender inequality, limited educational resources, or the need to work to support their families. Students in underserved communities also face barriers such as inadequate learning materials, outdated facilities, and limited access to technology and enrichment opportunities.
Through our two flagship initiatives, Coloring Futures and Bridging Gaps, Yours Humanly helps remove these barriers by providing children in need with access to quality education and equitable resources. While our programs are tailored to the unique needs of the countries and communities we serve, our mission remains the same—to lift children out of poverty and other challenging situations and empower them to achieve better, brighter futures through the power of education.
A Holistic Approach to Education

COLORING FUTURES
K-12 Scholarships
Our K–12 Scholarship Program is Yours Humanly’s most comprehensive and transformative initiative, providing underprivileged children with the opportunity to attend school and remain on the path to graduation. From initial placement through high school graduation, we cover tuition, uniforms, books, study materials, school supplies, mid-day meals, boarding when a child has no safe home, and other educational needs so our Yours Humanly scholars can focus on learning rather than financial hardship. Because every child has unique circumstances, our commitment extends far beyond funding an education. We work alongside our Yours Humanly scholars to help them overcome the personal, emotional, and practical challenges that can stand in the way of their success by providing individualized support tailored to each scholar’s unique needs, including mentorship, healthcare, counseling, and other assistance throughout their educational journey. By partnering closely with schools and monitoring each scholar’s progress, we are committed to ensuring every Yours Humanly scholar feels supported, valued, and empowered to graduate with confidence and pursue a brighter future.
STEM, Arts & Robotics
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), Arts, and robotics education equip students with the knowledge, creativity, and problem-solving skills they need to succeed in school, future careers, and an increasingly technology-driven world. Through hands-on learning experiences, students develop critical thinking, collaboration, communication, innovation, and resilience while exploring real-world concepts. Many schools in underserved communities lack the resources, equipment, and specialized instruction needed to offer these opportunities. Yours Humanly helps bridge this gap by providing STEM, Arts, and robotics kits, educational equipment, instructor-led learning experiences, Family STEM Nights, and other hands-on resources that inspire curiosity, encourage innovation, and prepare students for lifelong success while strengthening schools’ own STEM and robotics programs.
Early Literacy
Early literacy is the foundation of lifelong learning and academic success, helping children build strong reading, communication, and critical thinking skills while fostering confidence, independence, and a love of learning. Because students develop reading skills at different rates, many classrooms and communities lack the resources needed to support every learner. Yours Humanly helps bridge this gap by providing picture books, chapter books, leveled reading materials, bilingual books, and other literacy resources for children and classrooms in need. We also build libraries, host Family Literacy Nights to encourage reading at home and strengthen parent engagement, and provide English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction and bilingual learning resources where needed, helping children develop strong literacy skills and reach their full potential.
After School & Enrichment
After-school and enrichment programs give children opportunities to continue learning, build confidence, and develop new interests beyond the school day. Through academic support, hands-on learning experiences, and engaging extracurricular activities, students strengthen classroom learning while developing important life skills, creativity, teamwork, and leadership. Yours Humanly supports after-school tutoring, homework assistance, computer education, English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction, and a variety of enrichment opportunities including sports, gardening, dance, arts and crafts, board games, and outdoor education, helping children reach their full potential both inside and outside the classroom.
BRIDGING GAPS
Digital Literacy & Internet Access
Digital literacy is essential for success in today’s connected world, giving children the skills they need to learn, communicate, solve problems, and prepare for future education and careers. Yet millions of children in underserved communities still lack access to computers, reliable internet, and the technology needed to fully participate in modern learning. Yours Humanly helps close this digital divide by providing computers, internet access, educational technology, computer labs in schools, community computer centers, and computer science instruction where needed, empowering children with the digital skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to succeed in school and beyond.
Learning Space Improvements
Children learn best in spaces that are safe, welcoming, and nurturing—places that encourage curiosity, engagement, and a lifelong love of learning. Yet many schools, libraries, education centers, and community learning spaces in underserved communities lack the infrastructure and essential resources needed to provide effective learning experiences. Yours Humanly enhances learning spaces by improving existing facilities and making improvements where they are needed most, including reliable electricity, clean drinking water, classroom ventilation, structural repairs, classroom furnishings, libraries, playgrounds, outdoor learning spaces, and other facility enhancements that create safe, welcoming places where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
Disaster Relief
Disasters and humanitarian crises can devastate children, families, schools, and entire communities, disrupting lives, livelihoods, education, and access to essential resources. Whether responding to earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, wildfires, public health emergencies, or other crises, Yours Humanly works quickly to provide emergency aid, recovery assistance, and critical resources that help communities recover and rebuild. Depending on the needs of those affected, our response may include food, clean water, medical and hygiene supplies, temporary shelter, educational resources, school rehabilitation, and other forms of humanitarian assistance that restore hope, strengthen resilience, and help communities move forward.
