Yours Humanly has completed its initial emergency flood relief efforts in Nepal, providing much-needed assistance to 650 children and adults affected by the devastating floods in Nuwakot District.
The floods caused widespread destruction, damaging homes, schools, roads, and essential infrastructure, leaving families displaced and struggling to meet their basic needs. With many Yours Humanly scholars and their families living in the affected communities, the disaster hit especially close to home.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors and supporters, our Nepal team delivered truckloads of emergency relief supplies directly to affected families. Working on the ground, our team responded to the immediate needs of those who had lost so much, bringing relief, comfort, and hope during an incredibly difficult time.
We have put together a video documenting our relief efforts, the communities we visited, and the people we met along the way. We invite you to watch and see what your generosity helped make possible.

While our initial emergency relief efforts have concluded, many families still face a long road to recovery. We remain deeply grateful to everyone who donated, contributed supplies, shared our appeal, or supported our efforts in any way.
For those who would like to help with ongoing recovery needs in Nepal, please consider making a donation.
