On Friday, November 5, 2021, Yours Humanly presented a check in the amount of $10,500 to the Mt. Diablo Education Foundation. The donation will fund an outdoor educational experience exploring seawater tide pools for more than 200 5th grade students of three Mt. Diablo Unified School District (Contra Costa County, CA) Title 1 elementary schools: Sun Terrace, Fair Oaks, and Ygnacio Valley.
For the past four years, the Mt. Diablo Education Foundation has partnered with Yours Humanly in our annual Break a Sweat for Education 5K and Kids Fun Run. This donation represents that partnership as we give back to the District to help level the educational playing field for students in need.
